Last week, we met together in-person to discuss the European Media and Immersion Lab. After many months of virtual meetings and collaborations, it was such a refreshing change to see everyone face-to-face.
We spent the day brainstorming and sharing ideas on how to take our lighthouse projects to the next level. It was amazing to see how our different perspectives and expertise came together, and the energy and enthusiasm in the room were contagious. One of the highlights of the day was hearing about the different challenges and opportunities that each partner faced in their respective lighthouse projects. We left feeling invigorated and excited about what’s to come!
We also discussed the future of EMIL, and it was eye-opening to see how the landscape of extended reality technology varies across Europe and how we can learn from each other to create a more comprehensive project. As we look forward to the future, we’re excited to see what new possibilities and discoveries lie ahead. It’s clear that the European partners that form the foundation of EMIL bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table, and we can’t wait to continue collaborating to push the boundaries of XR technology.
