CREW is an “international team of researchers, performers, technologists, dramaturgs, musicians, programmers, writers and designers.” Last week, EMIL welcomed their team to the lab in a kickoff meeting for their XR project, Tools for Timon. The project, a “performance machine that enables artists to create and perform and audiences to experience complex stories grounded in VR,” was selected to receive funding as an extension of EMIL’s second funding call. We are thrilled to partner with CREW in this exciting state-of-the-art project for LBX production. Be sure to look for their segment in the next EMIL Fast Forward for more information on the team and their project.
