At Stereopsia Brussels, EMIL brought its mission to life, showcasing the diversity and synergy that drives our work.
At our vibrant booth, teams from multiple EMIL-funded projects – including Metropolia University of Applied Sciences / Helsinki XR Center (GameRAT), Universidade de Vigo (VirtualR3), Polycular (Crew Together), Design Academy Eindhoven (XR-IT), SenseGlove (Project Rembrandt) and CREW Brussels (Tools for Timon), supported by the EMIL nodes Aalto University and Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg / Animationsinstitut – came together to highlight how immersive technologies are transforming processes, arts & culture, health, entertainment and more. This unique cross-disciplinary collaboration exemplifies the power of diverse talent and shared expertise in shaping tomorrow’s realities.
Stereopsia, Europe’s foremost XR event, offered an inspiring platform to explore the potential of XR for Europe and beyond. The event continues to lead the way in technological evolution, commited to pioneer in research and innovation.
We also had the pleasure to catch up with partners from our fellow Horizon Europe projects, MAX-R, XReco and TRANSMIXR. Their impressive progress, alongside the interesting sessions and engaging discussions at our booth, left us even more determined to make XR an integral part of our lives – whether to solve problems, improve well-being or simply adding a spark of creativity and fun.
