Aalto University is excited to share that our paper “Apparent Thermal Motion on the Forearm” has been accepted in this year’s Eurohaptics Conference and will be presented in Lille this summer. In this work, we explored the possibility to create a sensation of dynamic heat stimuli moving across the arm by modulating the onset timings of two Peltier cells. The findings can help to simulate, for instance, moving hot steam in Virtual Reality. #lighthouse #VRsauna #thermal #experience #haptics #XR
